Eames,the American designer, architect and film maker together with his wife Ray were responsible for many classic iconic designs of the 20th century. His Lounge chair and Ottoman were released in 1956 after years of development.It has  made many television and film appearances.His designs are now a part of a permament collection of New York's Museum of Moder Art.
